イサンと類似の作品① ホジュン〜伝説の心医〜
ホジュンは、医者を目指す庶子という立場でありながら一旦は諦めましたが、紆余屈折しながら最後には王の主治医となる、というドラマになります。
みどころとしましては、医者を目指していましたが母親が側室といこともあって庶子という立場が邪魔をしてうまく生きることが難しいと悟り、自暴自棄になっていきます。
ですがそんな時に、父親が謀反の疑いをかけられて追われていた両班の娘ダヒと恋に落ち、一緒に人生を歩んでいこうとしますが、ダヒの身分回復ができるという朗報が入りジュンは身を引き、いったんは離れ離れになるのですが。。。いうストーリーになります。
この後どうやって伝説の医者となるのかという感じです。
ジュンの人生の最後まで描かれています。
イサンと類似の作品② 馬医
馬医は馬の名医から人間の名医へなったクァンヒョンの物語です。
クァンヒョンははじめは馬医（馬の医者）を目指し無事に立派な馬医となるのですが、その後ある出来事をきっかけに人を治療することになりそれは無事に成功するのですが、資格もない鍼を人間にしたことで処罰されてしまいます。
そこからそれをきっかけに人間の名医を目指し勉強し、高みを目指していくのですがこれもまた波乱万丈な道をたどることになります。
クァンヒョンは、どうやって馬医から名医になっていくのかクァンヒョンの波乱万丈の人生を描いたドラマとなっています。
王女の男
王女の男は、スンユとセリョンの恋がメインのストーリーなんですが、セリョンの父は、実は王座を狙うスヤン大君。
王が死去したことで、世子であるまだ幼いホンウィが第6代王・端宗が即位します。
ただまだ幼いがゆえに朝廷を動かすことができないため幼い王に代わって朝廷を動かしているキム・ジョンソをはじめその周辺を皆殺しにする。
ただこのジョンソこそが、スンユの父親！さらに家に住むみなを皆殺しにされたことでユンスは怒りに震え、敵討ちをしようとスヤン大君の屋敷にいったらそこには愛するセリョンの姿がある！
愛する二人は、親を殺されたユンス、そして愛する人の親を殺した父を持つセリョンという敵対する二人となってしまいます。
愛するがゆえに苦悩する二人の悲しいラブストーリーを描いています。
涙なしでは見れない超大作です。
