義禁府（ウィグムブ）とは？
義禁府（ウィグムブ）は、高麗（コリョ）忠烈王のときに作られた部署。
李氏朝鮮時代で王命（王様の命令）が下されたときに取り調べを行う部署になります。
主に大逆罪の罪、大罪人を取り調べます。（たとえば謀反を起こした重罪人など）
昔は、軍としても活動していましたが、李氏朝鮮王朝の時代になると、軍の活動はなくなり、取り調べを主にする部署に変わりました。
刑曹、漢城府とともに三法司としている。
どんな部署？
この部署は先ほども少し触れましたが罪人の中でも特に大罪を犯した者を取り調べる部署になります。
- 王命が下されたとき
- 儒教の教えを乱したとき
- 王に対して謀反などをおこしたとき
- 両班（ヤンバン）官僚が罪を犯したとき
- 外国官僚が罪を犯したとき
などにこの義禁府（ウィグムブ）が担当します。
そして、拷問などをかけるときに登場するのもこの義禁府（ウィグムブ）になります。
よく、ドラマ中に拷問にかけられていたり、拷問にかけろ！！なんていっている場面は義禁府（ウィグムブ）に移送されたということになります。
ですのでみんな震え上がっていますね。
ドラマでは、トンイのオ・ユンが義禁府（ウィグムブ）担当になります。後半チャ・チョンスが義禁府（ウィグムブ）都事として流刑地から復帰。
雲が描いた月明かりでも言葉のみですが登場しています。妹のミョンウン王女がサムノムに刀を向けて殺そうとするときに世子（イ・ヨン）が義禁府（ウィグムブ）に連行しろ！と言う言葉を発してあの場所は、一度入ったら出られない場所でしょっていう場面があります。それほど恐れられた場所になります。
