高卒ながらTK ローファームのスター弁護士であるオ・スジェ（ソ・ヒョンジン）。
勝つためには手段を選ばない冷徹な彼女は、TK の会長チェ・テグク（ホ・ジュノ）も認める敏腕弁護士だ。
しかし、最年少にして代表弁護士への就任が決まった矢先、ある事件に巻き込まれてしまい、兼任教授としてソジュン大のロースクールに左遷されることに。
そこには、国選弁護人時代に殺人事件の被疑者として出会ったコン・チャン（ファン・イニョプ）がいた。
チャンはキム・ドングという名前を捨て、新たな人生を送っていたのだ。
複雑に絡み合う２人の過去と現在。
企業売却、土地再開発を取り巻く権力者たちの欲望と悪事。
チャンはスジェの周囲で起きる不可解な事件からスジェを無条件に守ろうとするが…。
