あらすじ
1980年代、女性が殺害される連続殺人事件が発生する
継母に虐待される青年ジチョルは、自分の父が犯罪者と知っていた
さらに、その父からお前も犯罪者になると脅されて育った
そんなジチョルの唯一の心の拠り所は古書店で働くハウンだった
だが、ハウンは心臓病を患っており、移植手術をしないと余命はあとわずかだった
それを知ったジチョルは、ハウンと同じ血液型で、わが子を虐待死させた女性を殺害してしまう
そんなジチョルを逮捕したのは、ハウンの婚約者の刑事であるヒョンビンだった
だが後で自分自身もハウンと同じ血液型だと気づいたジチョルは脱獄し、ハウンのために命を捧げようとするがそれを追ってきたヒョンビンを誤って刺してしまう
それを知ったハウンは命を落としてしまう
さらにそれにショックを受けたジチョルは後を追うように自殺する・・
それから時はたち2020年！
ミイラ化した謎の遺体が発見される。
骨考古学者のサビンが事件を担当することに・・
サビンは検事のスヒョクと出会い、不思議な感覚に・・
ほぼ同じころに、同じ頃サビンは医学部生のジョンボムとも仲良くなる
