あらすじ
高麗末期～朝鮮王朝初期の頃・・
貧しく病気の妹の世話をしながら生活しているフィと父は高官、母は奴婢で庶子という理由で差別されながら生きてきたソノという男たちがいた。
二人は切磋琢磨しながら武芸に励む親友の二人だった。
そんな二人の前に役人に追われるヒジェが現れを救う。
フィが命の恩人である武将のソ・ゴムの息子だと知り、ヒジェはすぐに惹かれる。
そんなある日、フィとソノは武科の試験を首席合格するため対決。
試験はフィがソノに勝つがソノの父が裏で手を打ち、合格したのはソノとなった。
ソノの父は、ソノにフィを殺すように命じる。
ソノも仕方なく遼東征伐軍の先発隊としてフィを送り出すことに・・！
だがフィは3か月後、船上から無事帰還。
さらに、功績をあげみんなから一目おかれる存在となっていた。
それにまったをかけたのが、イ・ソンゲだった！
禑王の遼東征伐の不当だとして先発隊の人間の始末を決意する。
その刺殺隊としていったのがソノ。
そこでフィと運命的な再会を果たす！
それから少しして・・
イ・ソンゲは新たな国の朝鮮王朝の王となっていた。
フィはソノにイ・ソンゲの息子イ・バンウォンを殺せと命じられバンウォンを殺そうと弱みを探し始めるが・・・
