朝鮮王朝時代のドラマや資料などでよく目にする大君（てぐん）と君（くん・ぐん）。
この2つの言葉はよく聞くけど、どう違うのか気になる方もいらっしゃると思います。
実際わたしも何が違うのか気になりました。
さて、この2つの呼び方は一体なにが違うのでしょうか？
そしてどのような立場の方に使うのでしょうか？

大君（てぐん）
大君の呼び名はてぐん。
この大君とは、王と王妃の間に生まれた王子に与えられる称号になります。
この大君は名前ではありません。
身分なので、この大君を使うときは、その方の名前に大君をつけて呼びます。
たとえば、韓国ドラマでいうと王女の男でも登場した首陽大君（スヤンテグン）。
このように○○（名前）に大君をつけて呼びます。
君（クン・グン）
君は、（クン・グン）と読みます。
王子、王族等に与えられた称号で、王と側室の間に生まれた王子に使う称号です。
また、大君の息子にもこの君が使われています
そしてこちらももちろん名前でなく、称号。
名前に君をつけて呼びます。
例えば、韓国ドラマでは太陽を抱く月でも登場した陽明君（ヤンミョングン）。

大君・君は立場はどちらが上なのか
ではこの2つの称号の立場はどちらが上なのでしょうか
それは、公主と翁主のどちらが上なのか？という記事でもふれていますが、王様と王妃（正室）との子供につけられる大君のほうが立場は上となります。
どちらもちゃんと王子様で、王様の息子ですが母親の立場によって子供たちの称号も変わってきます。
大君・君の関係性
大君・君の関係性は、異母兄弟ということになります。
これは父親は同じですが、母親が違いますのでこのように関係性になります。
