世孫 読み方は？
まずは、読み方から。
世孫の読み方は『せそん』と読みます。
普通に読むとせまご？よまご？よそん？
などと読んじゃいますが、正解は『せそん』と読みます。
世孫とは一体なに？
世孫とは、簡単にいうと世子の息子になります。
世孫という漢字には孫がついていますよね。
これは、王様から見た名前で、世孫となっています。
世孫は、名前ではなくあくまでも役職名となります。
なので、イ・サンという作品を見たことがある方はわかるかもしれませんが、
苗字：イ
名前：サン
役職：世孫
という感じになります
とってもややこしいですよね。
ドラマの吹き替えなどを見ていると、『せそんさま～』といわれているので一見、名前がせそんなのかな？と思ってしまう方も多いと思います。
それはあくまでも役職名で『おうさま～』と呼んでいるのと同じなんですよね。
なので、ドラマなどで『せそんさま～』と呼んでいるのは偉いお方だからこそなんです。
『イ・サン』という作品で例えさせていただくと、サンというのが名前なのですが、サンと呼べるのは極・極・近い人のみが呼べる名前になります。

などサンより身分が上の方のみが名前で呼ぶことができます。
ですので、あまり名前で呼ばれることがなく、ほとんどが『せそんさま』と呼ばれています。

それはNOです。
なぜなら、世孫はたった一人しかこの役職をもらえません。
それは、次の次の王位継承者という意味があるからです。
ですので、次の次の王位継承者が何人もいると困りますよね。
なので、選ばれた孫1人が王位継承者である『世孫』と名乗ることができます。
