貧しい生活を送っていた少年ジホは、祖母の死によって孤児となり、父と名乗る大手楽器メーカーの会長マンセと出会う。マンセにはかつてピアニストだった妻ヨンランとの間に、音楽の才能に恵まれた息子イナがいたが、別の女性に産ませたジホを引き取り、長男として育てると宣言。さらに絶対音感を持つジホに一流の音楽教育を施し、次期会長として指名することを考える。そんな父の期待を一身に受けるジホに激しい嫉妬心を燃やすイナ。しかも兄弟は偶然にも同じ少女ダミに恋をしてしまう。一方、従順な妻としてジホの前で優しい母を演じていたヨンランは、イナに託した夢がジホに奪われていく日々に焦りを募らせていた。そんなある日、彼らが暮らす屋敷で大火災が発生。この日を境に、ジホ、イナ、ダミの運命は美しくも残酷な不協和音を奏で始める──！
