第14代国王宣祖の時代。

そんなある日、王の鍼治療に失敗し、罪人として追われて胸に矢を受けた彼は川に転落。
意識を取り戻すと、そこは2017年のソウルだった！
ホ・イムが茫然と街をさまよっていると、人が倒れている現場に遭遇。
鍼で救命しようとしたところ、偶然近くにいた外科医ヨンギョンが彼を制止する。
