15世紀朝鮮王朝第5代王・文宗の時代
朝廷では文宗の弟スヤン大君が王権を狙って、臣下や王族たちは文宗派とスヤン大君派に分かれて政権争いをしていた・・
そんな時、スヤン大君の娘セリョンが王女に成り代わり、儒教の講義に出席することに・・
そこで講義にやってきたのが、スヤン派と対立しているキム・ジョンソの息子であるキム・ユンスだった。
2人はこうして出会うことになる。
2人はこれがきっかけで惹かれあい愛を育んでいく・・
だが、2人は反勢力同士だとは気づくこともなかった・・
しかし、スヤン大君が起こしたクーデターによって2人は運命によって引き裂いてしまう・・
2人は一体どうなってしまうのか・・
みどころ＆感想
ユンスとセリョンは何も知らずに愛し合うが、お互いの親同士は反勢力同士のため、愛し合うことは叶わない立場である。
さらに、スヤン大君が王権を狙っているため、それを叶わせるには、反対勢力のユンスの父も邪魔者であった
親は賛成することもなく、ましてやセリョンの父はユンスの父の命をも狙っている・・
そんな中、2人の恋はどうなっていくのか・・
2人の恋が本当に切なく、愛しているのに愛せない・・
それがものすごく伝わり、見ていて、特にセリョンが可哀想で仕方なかったです
