王女ピョンガン月が浮かぶ川あらすじ
６世紀半ばの高句麗。
国王の長女、ピョンガン王女は、聡明で正義感が強く、将来は父の跡を継いで君主になり国を守るという夢を持っていた。
一方、国境を守る順奴（スンノ）部族のオン・ヒョプ将軍の息子オン・ダルは、父に憧れる無邪気なわんぱく少年だ。
朝廷では強大な力を持つ桂婁（ケル）部族のコ・ウォンピョがほかの２部族と結託し、王座を奪おうとしていた。
ヨン王妃はピョンガン王女を連れ、ひそかにオン・ヒョプ将軍に助けを求めに行くが、敵の陰謀により、王宮に戻ることなく殺されてしまう。
逃亡中にオン・ダルとはぐれたピョンガン王女は行方不明に。そして、オン・ヒョプ将軍は部族の民を守るため、王妃を殺した逆賊の汚名を着せられ命を落とすことに。
８年後、記憶を失っているピョンガン王女は、「カジン」という名で、高句麗の王族を襲う刺客集団の一員になっていた。
やがて、カジンに、国王を暗殺しろという命が下される。
そのころオン・ダルは、目立たぬように「バカとなって生きろ」という父の遺言に従い、山奥で養母とひっそり暮らしていた。
やがて偶然再会した２人は強くひかれあっていくが…。
