あらすじ
軍官の父、そして側室の子として生まれたジュン。
庶子という立場から身分が低く、裕福な生活を送れないと幼心で悟った少年がいた。
成長後、自暴自棄の生活を送るジュン
密貿易に手を出し捕まってしまうが、父の配慮で南の地へ逃亡することに・・
同じころ、父の謀反の疑いをかけられ追われていた娘のダヒと出会う。
同じ境遇のため、一緒に生きていくと決めるが、その途中でダヒの身分回復の知らせを聞き、自分とは身分が違うようになると悟ったジュンは、ダヒに黙って母と共に立ち去る。
ジュンは母と共に生き着いた山陰で、名医と名高いユ・ウィテと出会う
そして、彼に弟子を申し入れる。
そのころダヒもまた山陰までジュンを追って訪れ、ダヒと結ばれ結婚する
母、妻に支えられながら心医を目指すが、その道は険しく前途多難な生活が待ち受けていた・・！
