ハノル体育大学の重量挙げ部の期待の星、キム・ボクジュは水泳部のトップ選手で女子に大人気のチョン・ジュニョンと勘違いからトラブルになる。
そのことがきっかけでジュニョンはボクジュが小学校の同級生で、自分を助けてくれた怪力のおデブちゃんだったことに気づく。
それ以来、ボクジュの姿を見かけてはわざと昔のあだ名で呼んでからかうジュニョンだが、実はボクジュの行動が気になって仕方がない。
そんなある日、大荷物を抱えて雨の中を歩くボクジュは見ず知らずの自分に突然傘を差し出してくれた紳士的な医師ジェイに一目惚れ！
ジェイがジュニョンの従兄とは知らないボクジュは、ジェイに近づくために彼の勤務する肥満クリニックに周囲にはナイショで通い始める。
同じ頃、元恋人であるジュニョンを忘れられずにいた新体操部のスター選手ソン・シホは学生寮でボクジュと同室となる。
学内でじゃれあうボクジュとジュニョンを見かけたシホは元カノっぷりをアピール、そしてジュニョンと復縁するためにボクジュに協力を依頼する。
そんな中、なんとボクジュは肥満クリニックでジュニョンと鉢合わせ！そしてジュニョンはボクジュの恋心を知ることになるのだが…。
