世子（セジャ）様って一体どういう人なのでしょうか。
私も韓国ドラマの時代劇をはじめ見始めた時、セジャのことを名前だと勘違いしてしまっていました。
なので、毎回セジャの人の話ばっかりなんだなぁ～とど素人でした！
ここで本題の世子についてご紹介しますね！
世子（セジャ）様とは？
世子（セジャ）様とは、王様の息子であり、さらに王位継承者のことをいいます。
ほとんどが王様と王妃との間の子供の長子が受け継ぐことが多いのですが、もちろん王妃様との間に子ができなかったり、長子が亡くなったり、王様と長子の仲が悪くなったりすると世子（セジャ）が変わったりします。
なので世子（セジャ）様＝次の王様になる人と思ってください。
ドラマを見ていると気づくと思いますが、世子は青い服を着ています！
たまに作品によっては赤い色を着ている場合もありますが、基本は、
- 赤色→王様
- 青色→世子様
となっています
世子（セジャ）様以外の子供のことは？
王様には世子（セジャ）様になる子供以外にも王妃様との間に2番目、3番目と男の子が生まれた場合や、側室との間に産まれた子供もいます。
これらの子供は世子（セジャ）とは呼びません。
次の王様になるのは1人ですからね。
王様の長子以外の子供のことを大君（テグン）と呼びます。
そして、側室などの間に産まれた子供のことを君（クン）といいます。
実際世子（セジャ）様は王位継承者ですので王宮ではたった一人しかおりませんし、王様の次に偉い王族となります。
世子（セジャ）様が亡くなってしまったら？
王位継承をする前に病気などで世子（セジャ）様が亡くなってしまうこともあります。
ドラマでトンイや華政（ファジョン）などでもそんな場面があります。
この場合は、王様と王妃との間の子の次男が世子（セジャ）となります。
王様が任命しないとならないのでこういうとき悪い側室とかいると、次の王様にしたいと思って策略を立ててしまう側室も少なくありません(-_-;)
でも基本的には順番に王位継承が次がれていきます。
次男がいなかった場合は、側室との間の子を即位させます。

この中でそのまま跡を告げた世子もいれば、病死してしまった世子や暗殺されてしまった世子、廃位、処刑されてしまった世子もいます。
