1996年、抜群の記憶力を持つ少年アン・テソン（イ・グァンス）と母ハン・ミョンスク（チン・ヒギョン）は
偽札でチョコパイを購入しようとした不審な男を取り押さえることに成功。
この事件をきっかけに親子は一躍有名になったが、月日が経った今も何者からか復讐をほのめかすメッセージが2人の元に届いていた。
